Dam (per source): Flicka [Happy Acres Flicka] Notes: (from Sherry or Pat) Appaloosa club site to check on the pedigree for Oklahoma's Fly Boy (they list name without the apostophe -maybe dropped when changed systems) and the dam of Shawnee City Sue is recorded as Happy Acres Flicka (unreg). Howard Thompson, Shawnee, OK, used 'Shawnee' to name horses in his program. He registered several colored Appaloosa mares of unknown parentage, that were used in his program. This leads me to think, that Flicka, dam of Shawnee City Sue either was not an Appaloosa, or not a colored Appaloosa, or Thompson probably would have registered her for his program.
