Rebrand and favorites

NewRebranded from Horse Records to The Equine Manager, with a new logo across the header, favicon, and login/register pages.
NewHorses with an ID/NC/PC/BT-registered parent are now automatically added to Favorites.

August 19, 2026

NewFoundation % and FAHR % now show on every horse listing tab, not just the main Horses page.
NewDashboards now group foals by year, show the other parent, and support Favorites.
FixedA date bug that shifted every imported horse's birth date by one day was corrected.

August 18, 2026

NewAdded financials tracking, with admins able to view any breeder's dashboard.
NewAdmin navigation links are now grouped under a single Admin menu.
NewColor and Barn Name now show on the horse profile page.
FixedAdd/Edit Horse no longer loads the entire horse table just to pick a Sire or Dam - it's much faster now.
FixedFixed mobile issues in Add/Edit Horse with the Color field, date typing, and logging out.

August 16, 2026 – August 17, 2026

NewImported the ApHC Tentative, Pedigree Certificate (PC), Beyond the Studbook ("Regular Registered"), Identification (ID), Colorado Rangerbred (CRHA), Sundance Bloodline (SBC), and FAHR registries - tens of thousands of historical horses are now searchable and can be linked into pedigrees.
NewAdded site-wide search from the header, plus a registration-type breakdown on the Horses page.
NewAdded an opt-in Appaloosa mailing list (all horses or foundation-only), with admin CSV export.
FixedMerged 358 duplicate horse records that had been created across the various imports.
FixedFixed several Horses-list and dashboard crashes that only showed up once the horse count grew large, and added pagination.
FixedFixed occasional "Something went wrong" errors that could appear right after a deploy.

NewImported the ApHC Foundation Horse registry and added a Foundation Horses tab.
NewPhoto upload now supports drag-and-drop, each profile section saves independently, and sire/dam quick-add is smoother.
NewBirth and deceased dates can now be entered with the precision you actually have - exact date, year-month, or just a year.
ImprovedReworked the FAHR % rules for T/ID/NC/PC/BT-registered horses, forced registered names to uppercase for consistency, and gave horses clean, readable URLs.
FixedDuplicate-horse warnings now require an exact name match, and Horses search now matches multiple words across any field.
